Regarding the Oxidation of Silver Fiber Shielding Fabrics

Silver fiber fabric has many uses, shielding against electromagnetic wave radiation, conductivity, antibacterial, human body induction, etc.

Silver fiber will slowly oxidize when exposed to the air or by people with excessive sweating, and the degree of oxidation varies according to different environments and usage methods. Surface oxidation will affect the electrical conductivity and antibacterial properties, but has little effect on the shielding and anti-electromagnetic wave radiation performance.

If you fold the silver fiber fabric and expose it to the air, the folded edges will first oxidize and turn yellow.

We have the technology to cover the surface of the silver fiber with an anti-oxidation layer. The anti-oxidation material is safe and environmentally friendly. We have carried out SGS environmental testing for this.

The anti-oxidation silver fiber fabric has conductive, shielding and anti-electromagnetic wave radiation function, but the antibacterial performance will be weakened.

Silver fiber fabrics are not suitable for use in acid-base, high humidity, and high temperature environments.
